This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025
Western Australian College of Agriculture – Morawa (WACOA – Morawa) is a highly regarded Independent Public School, which enrols students from across Western Australia to study specialist agriculture courses and trade certificates, while living in a modern co-education, residential boarding facility.
Students gain entry to the College through the successful completion of a 'one-week trial', followed by an interview of the student and parent/caregiver with the Principal.

The WACOA – Morawa is adjacent to the town site of Morawa which is situated 360km north of Perth.
The property is 3,242ha and primarily a broad acre grain growing farm, but also accommodates Gelbvieh Cattle Stud, Merino and Crossbred Sheep flocks and Commercial Piggery enterprises.
Morawa is a Midwest "Super Town" located only an hour from the coastal town of Dongara and an hour and a half from the Regional City of Geraldton.

The College delivers a quality agricultural education to students in Years 10, 11 and 12 through a combination of Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) Subjects and Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) qualifications which enables students to follow pathways to University or further study, or a General pathway to an apprenticeship, TAFE or employment.
The College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and delivers National Training Package qualifications in Agriculture, Automotive and Engineering.

The Role
The successful applicant will be an active contributor to the Agriculture learning area and should be reflective in their practice to support professional growth and improve educational outcomes for students.
You will ideally possess a sound understanding of the Agricultural curriculum and courses and knowledge and the ability to use high impact learning strategies to successfully engage students in Agriculture should be evident in your practice.

The ability to differentiate curriculum and implement innovative approaches to improve outcomes for both high and low achieving students is a key element to this position.
You will ideally build positive relationships with your students and be passionate about creating positive futures for students, and utilise evidence based decision making skills within your practice.

Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year.
Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.

The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.
