About the role:Based in our head office in West Perth, the Tax Accountant will play an important role in supporting the direct & indirect tax compliance obligations across the Australian & New Zealand companies. Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will be a part of a diverse, fast paced, and inclusive team that strongly supports the day-to-day success and operation of our community focused for purpose business, that truly makes a difference to those that need it, around the world.Your responsibility:Preparing and meeting our tax compliance and reporting requirements, including income tax, GST, FBT and payroll taxPreparing and assisting with statutory tax effect accounting and reportingAssisting external tax advisors with information requests and supporting documentationUndertake ad-hoc tax technical research and provide tax advice to the businessAssist the Tax Manager with broader group initiatives, such as international tax, Transfer Pricing, BEPS and M&A.Assist with the collation and preparation of information for revenue authority reviewsSupport with other administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects as requiredMaintain knowledge on current tax laws and regulationsAbout you:CA or CPA qualification, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 4 to 5 years demonstrated corporate tax experience in commerce or practice environmentHave previous experience with tax effect accounting and preparing income tax returns for consolidated groupsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skillsStrong prioritisation and problem-solving skills with ability to be able to think outside of the box and work with efficiencyA driven individual with a passion for continuous improvement and professional growth, eager to expand their experience within a large multi-national groupHigh degree of self-motivation, collaboration, and outcome-driven work ethicAbout APM Group:We're a diverse team of over 16,000 people across 11 countries with a shared purpose - to enable better lives.
