Sydney Water is looking for a dedicated and skilled Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our People and Culture group. Do you thrive on the thrill of the search? Can you spot top talent in a crowd?

As our Talent Sourcing Specialist, you'll work with an energetic team to source, engage, and build a pipeline of top talent for roles that shape the future of water.

In this position, you'll partner with our Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers, dig into industry trends, and creatively use sourcing channels to find candidates who aren't just skilled but who also align with our mission to keep Sydney flowing. Responsibilities: Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners: Work closely with our Talent Acquisition Partners to drive end-to-end sourcing for all Sydney Water roles — from finding to engaging top talent and building strong candidate relationships.Map the Talent Landscape: Conduct in-depth market research and talent mapping to uncover hidden gems in target industries and specialised skill areas.Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong connections with stakeholders, ensuring candidates receive a first-class experience every step of the way.Leverage Diverse Sourcing Channels: Engage with and manage various sourcing channels, including our Sydney Water talent communities, to keep the candidate pipeline flowing.Collaborate with Employer Branding: Team up with our Employer Branding and Communications experts to amplify our message and promote opportunities both internally and externally.Experience and Qualifications: Proven background as a Sourcing Specialist or in a similar recruitment setting, with a track record of successfully identifying, engaging, and nurturing top talent.Experience in sourcing for hard-to-fill roles, particularly within digital and technical areas desirable but not essential.Exposure and understanding to contemporary and value-adding recruitment sourcing within complex environments.Proven success in attraction strategies and recruitment campaigns.Excellent communication and market-savvy sourcing skills.Relevant tertiary qualifications such as a degree or Diploma in HR or business or experience deemed equivalent.Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to partner with all levels across the organisation.This recruitment may be used to fill an upcoming 12-month maternity leave cover.
