Salary: (FTE) Up to $70,000 + 11.5% super + salary packaging. Prorated $42,000 + 11.5% super
Employment Type: Permanent part-time. 22.8 hours a week (3 days a week)
WHAT YOU WILL DO Recruitment and Selection Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and draft job postings. Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating reference and background checks within a timely manner. Respond to candidate queries through our online portal and Talent inbox; respond to queries from external and internal parties. Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely updates and managing the recruitment process with professionalism. Projects and Continuous Improvement Support People & Culture initiatives that foster talent attraction and employee engagement. Help to organise events, workshops, and activities that promote a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. Drive continuous improvement in People & Culture processes and practices, including updating changes to Workday workflows or the Garvan intranet. Reporting and Metrics Track recruitment metrics and prepare reports to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies. Identify and implement improvements in the recruitment process based on data and feedback. ABOUT YOU The key skills and experience include:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field desirable but not essential. Experience in a fast-paced office environment, demonstrated experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or HR support roles desired. Keen interest or experience in human resources or recruitment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and team members. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks and handle competing priorities. Proficiency in HR software and recruitment platforms (e.g. Workday, LinkedIn) and Microsoft Office suite. Adept analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in interpreting and analysing people data.
