We believe in prioritising wellbeing, adventure, creativity and academic rigour, and we value wisdom.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist, to oversee, support, and review the entire recruitment and onboarding cycle, working closely with hiring managers to attract, source, assess, place, and induct ideal candidates.The TAaOS will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. The role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process that aligns with our School's goals, values, and Strategic Framework.In this role there is an administration component, which will need to be balanced with strategic initiatives.The key responsibilities of this role include:Developing and executing strategic Initiatives for attraction, recruitment and onboarding.Candidate sourcing.Screening, selection and interview coordination.Preparing all new contracts and change of conditions correspondence through the HRIS Completing placement and onboarding administration.Coordinating all aspects of the new employee, whole School onboarding program/event.Establishing, analysing and reporting on key data metrics.Supporting hiring managers through recruitment and onboarding processes.To be considered for this role, you will have:Experience in a similar role, in a busy environment.A positive attitude and an authentic, passionate, resilient, courageous, curious and compassionate character.The ability to learn new systems quickly, and proactively recommend improvements to process using innovative technologies.Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.Knowledge of employment law.We offer an attractive package, plus a range of benefits such as access to the School's Wellbeing Centre, professional development in the principles and practice of Positive Psychology and Education, and daily lunch provided during the School term.For further details and/or to apply, visit the Employment page on our website: www.ggs.vic.edu.au/employment .
