About the role The Systems Support Officer supports the ICT Business Analyst and Operations Coordinator by ensuring efficient and effective IT operations within Carpentaria.
This position is responsible for managing IT assets, organising and allocating IT resources, and providing Level 1 and Level 2 support across various locations in Darwin and Alice Springs, both remotely and in person.
Manage and maintain IT assets, including tracking, organizing, and allocating IT resources.Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to staff across multiple locations in Darwin and Alice Springs, addressing hardware and software issues.Support the onboarding and offboarding process by setting up and configuring user accounts, IT equipment and providing induction training.Assist in the deployment and setup of IT equipment, including computers, printers, and other peripherals.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues both remotely and in person.Log and process support requests through the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution of issues.Collaborate with the ICT Business Analyst and Operations Coordinator to identify and implement improvements in IT processes and systems.Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support or external contractors as needed.Maintain and update user groups in SharePoint.Assist with and deliver IT training.Create and maintain systems operations manuals, documentation and instructions.About you The ideal candidate should be studying or recently completed a relevant tertiary IT qualification, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, proficiency in using and supporting Windows 11, Office 365 (including Outlook and SharePoint) and other common IT systems and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
You will also need to hold (or have the ability to obtain) a current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid certificate and an NT Drivers Licence.
