About the role
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining Kennards' infrastructure and ensuring seamless IT operations. This includes managing end-user computing needs, optimising systems for maximum uptime, and providing technical support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Kennards' End-User Computing (EUC) needs using Intune and HPDM platforms. Provide technical support to IT teams, branch staff, and external vendors as needed. Maintain and optimize the Citrix environment for security and uptime. Manage Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) technologies such as Netskope. Oversee application control and policies through AD GPO and Intune. Configure and manage Windows Servers and virtual machines in VMware. Perform maintenance and patching of the Dell VxRail cluster. Train and guide the Service Desk on EUC best practices. About you
You are a motivated and technically skilled IT professional with a passion for infrastructure management and support. With strong problem-solving abilities, you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver exceptional results. Your expertise spans across various IT systems, and you have a proactive approach to security and system optimization. You're known for your ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and enjoy mentoring others to ensure best practices are followed.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in resolving Level 1 and 2 technical issues across servers, networking, and hardware/software. Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as O365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and SharePoint. Proficiency in managing Windows Servers, VMware, and Citrix environments. Hands-on experience with Intune, including policy creation and device management. Familiarity with automation tools and PowerShell scripting (desired). Cybersecurity-focused with a "Security First" mindset. Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP) and Fortinet (preferred). Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Join our team
