Our engineers, developers, radar experts, technicians and project managers provide a full suite of products and services ranging from co-design to commercialisation, deployment, and system support.As a valuable member of our high performing team, you will apply your experience, to ensure effective systems engineering is applied to our projects, product development and service delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop product concept of operations (CONOPS).Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to develop, decompose and allocate technical requirements.Perform trade studies and system design with a focus on interface and architectural definition.Develop integration and test plans, procedures and reports.Perform system and subsystem-level integration and test against requirements.Support field trials, factory acceptance testing and customer demonstrations.Support system checkout, troubleshooting and problem reporting.Raise Engineering Change Requests and participate in Change Control Boards.Participate in technical reviews and configuration audits.Perform hazard analyses and technical risk assessments.Support the development of systems engineering lifecycle processes.About YouOverall, you're an ideas person and problem solver as well as a hands-on doer – that's important.

If you have an interesting or unusual mix of skills yourself, even better.We're looking for people who are natural initiative-takers who bring out the best in others, are brilliant listeners and can grow our business without compromising standards, integrity or culture.What we're looking for:Australian Citizen and eligible for security clearance.Bachelor's degree in software, electronics or similar engineering discipline.Minimum 2 years of experience practising systems engineering.Able to demonstrate high proficiency in technical communication, including written reports and documentation for stakeholders, requirements elicitation, and communicating ideas to team members.Defence industry experience is desirable but not essential.Experience with data analysis techniques and scripting languages is desirable.RF and/or Radar domain knowledge is highly regarded.Knowledge of specialty engineering topics such as system safety and system security is desirable.Experience with integration and test of combined hardware/software systems.ClearancesAs Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.Why Silentium DefenceAt Silentium Defence, we create positively differentiated work experiences that enable our people to feel valued and achieve their full potential.
