Working across a variety of technologies in a multi-disciplinary team, they will provide an expert level of service and skill in support of Indue staff and customers, all who depend on the reliability and security of Indue's IT systems. You'll be leveraging your traditional system engineering and DevOps skillsets to fulfill your role at Indue.Maintaining the technical landscape, the Systems and DevOps Engineer is responsible for analysing complex technical challenges and developing solutions to continually deliver services. Utilising a secure-by-design approach you will also be responsible for continually improving the functionality, automation, reliability, resiliency, stability, and security of systems both on-prem and in public cloud.Responsibilities for the role include:Work across a variety of technologies (particularly Linux based) to ensure reliability and security of our IT system and improve the functionality, automation, reliability, resiliency, stability, and security of systems both on-prem and in public cloud.Log, track, manage and report support items in line with customer SLAs. Support items include support issues, service requests, information requests and ongoing system maintenance activities.Investigate, determine the cause of and resolve support issues directly, in collaboration with others internally and/or through the engagement and management of internal and external service providers.Implement maintenance activities as required, which may include directly performing and/or working with internal/external service providers.Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) testing and regular on-call roster.About YouYou will have all or majority of the following skills and attributes:At least 3 years experience managing and supporting Linux environments.At least 3 years of experience developing, configuring and supporting Cloud services and environments.Demonstrated experience with infrastructure-as-code deployments and tooling (particularly Puppet and Terraform).Experience with network troubleshooting.Experience in vulnerability management and remediation processes.Demonstrated logical problem-solving skills and teamwork skills.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.Demonstrated ability to develop written technical documentation.The following skills and experience are not essential, but will be highly desirable:Previous experience in the financial services industry or a similar heavily regulated industry.Previous experience using VMWare tools and Cloud platforms (particularly Azure).Sounds like you?Use the 'Apply' button to create your profile and submit your Cover Letter and Resume, demonstrating your relevant experience for the role.No agency enquiries - only direct candidates with full working rights in Australia will be considered.
