Job Description Friendly, inclusive, and supportive team environment Fast-paced and active position engaging with a wide range of stakeholders Join a VIC Big Build Project – The M80 Ring Road The Project The M80 Ring Road Alliance (comprising ACCIONA, MACA, and AECOM) has been selected to design and construct the M80 Ring Road Completion.
The project will deliver a major upgrade of the M80 Ring Road between the M80-Plenty Road interchange and the North East Link tunnel entrance at Watsonia, providing a seamless connection to North East Link.
Works include the construction of 14 kilometres of new lanes, bulk earthworks, retaining walls, bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, urban design, and landscaping.
This diverse and challenging project will be completed in 2028.
Key accountabilities for the position Support the facilitation of Project Inductions 3 D Safety, RIW & Damstra Process 3 D Safety Site induction bookings, ensuring compliance with M80 RRA requirements.
Liaise with relevant personnel to facilitate efficient onboarding of all relevant M80 RRA employees (NOPS) and subcontractors Onboarding direct-employ new starters into the M80 RRA competency management system Assisting and liaising with subcontractor administrators to establish company profiles and onboard new starters into the M80 RRA competency management system Verifying evidence of competency and currency Providing advice regarding competency requirements for all M80 RRA roles Providing notification of expiring competencies and licenses Printing and issuing site access cards General administrative tasks as required.
Approval of Verification of Competency – Check RII certification, certificate of attainment, RIW role identified, ensure VOC process compliance.
Liaising with People & Capability team to verify New Starter requests Support Health and Safety team across multiple workplaces to implement, maintain, and administer compliance systems and records Required Skills and Competencies Training and Assessment Cert IV or similar desirable Advanced communication skills and able to confidently build relationships at all levels of the project team Experience in the construction industry highly desirable Able to work effectively in a team environment with meticulous attention to detail ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023 & 2024 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
