**You may also be**:
- Promoting participants' choice & control in their daily lives by supporting individuals to be an active part of their community.
- A good understanding of person-centered active support or willingness to embrace this model of support
- Be comfortable supporting adult clients with complex disabilities and behaviours that can challenge (AOD dependencies and Verbal aggression)
- Following behaviour support & health care plans to support participants live more independently within the community.
- Supporting participants to increase & develop skills in training, budgeting, safe relationships, life skills (cooking, shopping, cleaning).
- Assisting our participants to achieve their NDIS goals.
- Supporting participants to broaden their interest.
**Some of our requirements**:
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what's important to us is that you have flexible availability across a 24/7 roster mornings 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, active nights 10pm-6am and access to your own car and green P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher.
