The OpportunityWe are currently looking for experienced and passionate Care Aides to join our team in Hedland. We have multiple permanent part-time roles available, offering flexible working hours, with contracts ranging from a minimum of 10 hours per week, up to 30 hours per week. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday- Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm. If you are available for some, or all of this time period then we would love to hear from you!
Our Care Aides deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible. Responsibilities include a range of personal care tasks including showering, grooming, toileting, and other support such as medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks and social support in the community. Care Aides will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential.
About YouCertificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience.
