The Opportunity: Based in Bendigo working with our Community Clients within their homes, as a Support Worker at Claro, you will be supporting our customers with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life.
Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following: Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home Providing support with hygiene and personal care Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication Meal assistance which may include meal preparation Shift times: (With various clients) Monday to Friday 8.30am-11am, 9.30am-12.30pm, 4pm-6pm and 9pm-11pm Saturday 10-30am-2.30pm, 10.30am-12.45pm and 4pm-6pm Sunday 8am-12pm and 10am-1pm To be successful in this role you will have: A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support Experience as a Disability Support Worker Australian Drivers Licence (P2 minimum), reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain Able to work a range of shifts including morning, afternoon, night (active or passive) What we Offer: Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle, work/life balance needs and availability Paid travel between client shifts (minimum distance applies) Paid induction training when you start Paid annual training On-the-job advice and mentoring "We are a 2023 Circle Back Initiative Employer – we commit to respond to every applicant" If you would like your profile to be discovered by our team of recruiters for future roles, we would love you to join our Talent Community.
