Dickson College is seeking a Support Programs Office Manager/Events Coordinator to join our Administration team. This role requires initiative, discretion, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of building relationships with stakeholders while delivering quality results under tight deadlines.
The Support Programs Office Manager/Events Coordinator will oversee the Support Programs Office and coordinate selected college events.
Responsibilities: Managing Learning Support Assistants and coordinating their schedules across the college and the Secondary Introductory English Centre (SIEC).Supporting the Engagement Administration Officer to enhance teacher support in student learning.Collaborating with the Business Manager to develop skills, implement training, and monitor professional development for the learning support assistant team.Eligibility/Other Requirements: Experience in an administration role.First Aid Certificate or a willingness to undertake appropriate training.Certificate IV or equivalent e.g., Business Administration, Government (School Support Services), Government and/or Education Support.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Knowledge of school-specific software including Sentral or similar.Note: Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
