The Role We have an exciting opportunity for 2 x Support Operations Engineers to join our growing Melbourne & Sydney Service Centre Team. We operate 4 days in the office/onsite with 1 day work from home on Wednesdays.
Responsibilities: Provide Onsite and remote Incident resolution and fulfilment of onsite desktop activities to ensure the smooth operation of IT services for our customers.Assist remote resolver teams with activities that require physical presence, create knowledgebase articles and process documents, and reduce the volume of incidents by identifying and eliminating root causes through proactive problem management processes.Assist the projects team with the deployment of new infrastructure (desktop and server side) and act as the key technical representative of blueAPACHE managed services.Set up new PCs, phones, and mobile devices as per customers' existing documented processes and carry out the software installation of preapproved desk side software.Minimum Requirements: 2+ years of experience working within a Service Desk or Field Services role.Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure with experience in networking technologies such as routers and switches (switching, routing, VLAN, WLAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Radius, VPN).2+ years Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy experience.2+ years experience working with a ticket management system.Previous MSP/IT Services experience preferred.A valid Driver's Licence and your own transport.IT degree or Diploma.Valid Microsoft certification.VMWare, CISCO, and ITIL certification desired but not essential.blueAPACHE continues to grow alongside some of Australia's leading midmarket businesses, our valued clients.
