QueenslandPermanentAn opportunity currently exists for a Supply Chain & Asset Administrator based at our Chinchilla office, on a permanent full-time basis. The purpose of this position is to be responsible for all facets of our supply chain function across our projects in the Surat Basin and warehouse management.
In this role you will proactively engage with a range of stakeholders and develop relationships to support the delivery of planned maintenance work.
Key areas of Responsibility include:
Develop, maintain, execute and administer all contractual arrangements with suppliers and sub-contractors in line with strategic and project plans
Develop, maintain, execute and administer all procurement and logistics with suppliers and sub-contractors in line with strategic and project plans
Establish industry supplier database and manage currency / performance quality of suppliers within the database
Demonstrate commitment to and provide weekly / monthly supply chain reporting against all strategic and project plans for use by the Regional Manager and Project Managers
Administer and carry out all functions in relation to goods in / out for the warehouse / workshop facility including receipt of delivery and dispatch of goods, warehouse management and forklift operation.
Administration of all Asset Management including workshop and tool stores
Assist Project Managers to ensure periodic servicing, inspections and calibrations are carried out in accordance with asset maintenance schedules.
Provide support to Brisbane office as required
To be considered for this role you must have:
Must have strong analytical, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to meet goals and deadlines
Previous procurement/contracting and or industry experience
Well- developed computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and MS Outlook) with the ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy
Forklift and HR licenses required
Recognised tertiary qualifications Logistics and Supply Chain
Previous experience with ERP systems (SAP, Pronto, Ellipse etc)
