Supervisor Workshop

Applications are invited for the position of Supervisor Workshop, based at Council's Inverell Workshop. The successful applicant shall be responsible for the satisfactory day-to-day running of Council's Inverell Workshop and to assist with the development & implementation of plant maintenance and repair programs to ensure the efficient operation of Council's fleet.Selection Criteria:Qualifications:NSW School Certificate / Record of School Achievement or equivalent;Trade Certificate as Motor Mechanic, Plant Fitter or Metal Fabricator;Successful completion of an approved course for supervisors;NSW Class HR Drivers Licence;RMS, AIS Approved Examiner Certificate (Heavy and Light vehicles) and willingness to become Council's AIS Nominee;SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card (White Card).Experience:Formal qualifications and a proven track record of leadership and supervision.Experience in Fleet Management.Experience in Fleet Procurement.Three (3) years post trade experience in a similar role.Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
