About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor with expertise in pavement works to join our Sydney team!
In this role, you'll supervise day-to-day pavement construction activities, manage site teamsand ensure the high-quality delivery of project work. You'll collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineers, ensuring everything stays on track, within budget and meets project specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising and coordinating pavement construction activities, including site preparation, laying, and finishing of pavement works. Leading and managing site teams and subcontractors to ensure effective use of resources, productivity and quality. Ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality and environmental standards on-site. Tracking project progress, reporting on milestones and proactively identifying and mitigating risks or delays. Working alongside Project Engineers and stakeholders to meet project requirements. Maintaining accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheetsand material usage. Fostering a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement across all site operations. What You'll Bring to the Team
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Extensive experience in pavement construction supervision, particularly within civil infrastructure projects. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate site teams effectively. In-depth knowledge of pavement construction methods, materials and industry standards. A commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. A valid Construction Induction (White Card) and a current driver's license. Why You Should Work with Us
