POSITION SUMMARYDue to our continued success in securing local work and contracts, we are currently looking for an experienced supervisor and two labourers to join our team based in Emerald & The Central Highlands region.Supervisor Role: The primary purpose of this role is to lead a small road maintenance crew and program, with regards to the project scope, ensuring all specifications and quality parameters are achieved, in a safe and cost-efficient manner.Labourers: The primary purpose of this role is to complete various road maintenance activities including patch work, civil work, bitumen/asphalt and crack sealing. We are searching for team players who take pride in producing quality work.SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Day to day job planning and executing worksLeading your crew to complete works on time, safely and in budgetDaily reporting of materials and resources used to complete worksTrain employees to ensure safe operations of machinery at all timesLead and demonstrate commitment to safety, environment, and quality performanceCompletion of job inspections, site inspection forms, daily job specific risk assessments and ensuring all pre-start checks are completed prior to work commencingEnsure all documentation is completed in full and correctly and forwarded on to relevant departments in the required time framesOther duties as requiredThe Ideal Candidate will possess the following essential skills and experience:Previous experience in road surfacing and supervising rolesWhite CardProven organisational skills and a "can do" attitudeExceptional time management and leadership skillsThe successful applicants will be rewarded with an exception work/life balance with their working hours and days.If you are interested in this great opportunity, please click apply now!
