As a pivotal member of the Infrastructure Project Delivery team, you will lead, mentor and support the projects delivery team to manage and deliver their projects on time, on budget and to a high standard of quality and service.
You will oversee end-to-end project management of the team, including stakeholder engagement, tender process, strategy development, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
With a team project portfolio that is varied and constantly growing, this role requires an experienced and ambitious Leader to join the exciting world of infrastructure projects at the City.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application : Demonstrated experience in managing and administering construction projects and contracts Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring and managing people from a diverse range of backgrounds Considerable experience and exposure to the financial management of multi-disciplinary projects covering budgeting, cost control and reporting requirements Proven strong stakeholder management capabilities Well-developed communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills Well-developed time management and organisational skills A trade qualification, degree or diploma in engineering, project management, construction or a related field Current 'C' class Australian driver's licence This position offers a gross salary from $103,919 to $110,654 per annum (depending on knowledge and skill) incorporating all allowances and penalty rates, and: 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5% A variety of health and wellbeing programs - physical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $150 per annum, free flu vaccinations, free skin cancer checks, mental health programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) services Flexible working arrangements, including rostered days off and two additional paid days of absence per annum A culture of learning with training/development opportunities, including paid study leave and study fees Salary packaging opportunities for motor vehicles, etc.
