Student Services Coordinator

Nationally recognized flight school in business for over 84 years seeks Student Services Coordinator at our Airline Training Center in Pompano Beach, Florida. Our Student Services Coordinator is responsible for assisting and supporting students studying for an aviation career.Qualifications:Must possess superior verbal, written, organizational and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a team environmentCan-do attitudeAbility to adapt/respond to different types of studentsUnderstanding the concept of student oversight and working in a team environment to provide supportAbility to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectivelyAt least 10 years of experience in customer serviceDuties include, but are not limited to:Working with school manager, operations team members, instructors and chief pilots to ensure the student's successParticipation in daily team meetings to review student progressCoordinating details for our domestic and international students, including arranging student housing and assigning roommatesDaily, weekly and monthly accounting tasksCoordinating graduation ceremonies with local venuesSending out progress reports and arranging parent calls with the school director if neededArranging student social eventsAssisting with TSA approval and immigration compliance for students with guidance from senior managementIdentifying and assessing student needs to achieve success by coordinating with the school directorBenefits:Advancement based upon performance, and opportunity for both career and compensation advancementGroup Medical Insurance Program401K with company contributions and Life Insurance ProgramPaid vacation and holidaysTraining regarding company procedures and education on our systems will be provided.
