About the role

As the Student Service Manager at the Hader Institute of Education, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the student experience and supporting the academic success of our diverse learner community. This full-time position is based in our Armadale, VIC call centre and will see you leading a team of student service professionals to deliver exceptional support and guidance to our students.
What you'll be doing Oversee the day-to-day operations of the student service department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of servicesLead, manage and develop a team of student service professionals to provide high-quality support to studentsLiaise with academic staff to identify and address the needs of students, implementing proactive support strategiesManage student enquiries, complaints and feedback, resolving issues in a timely and professional mannerDevelop and implement policies, procedures and systems to streamline student service processesCollaborate with other departments to enhance the overall student experienceContribute to the continuous improvement of student service offeringsPrepare reports and analyse data to inform decision-making and service enhancementsYou will report to the Student Recruitment ManagerWhat we're looking for At least (3+ years) in a student service or student support role within the education sector or relevant customer service experienceOr holds an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in relevant fieldProven track record of leading and developing high-performing teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff and stakeholdersStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solutions-oriented approachProficient in data analysis and report writing to drive continuous improvementThorough understanding of student service best practices and the regulatory environment in the education industryWhat we offer Competitive remuneration package with performance-based bonusesOpportunities for professional development and career advancementCollaborative and supportive work environmentFlexible work arrangements and work-life balance initiativesEmployee wellness programs and discountsAbout us
