Fixed term, part-time opportunity at 0.5 FTE until 31 December 2025 for a Student Recruitment Coordinator with exceptional relationship management skills.
Within the Division of External Engagement, the Future Students branch encompasses domestic and international recruitment, future student experience, and admissions teams.
The Domestic Recruitment team undertakes outreach and recruitment activities across Australia, engages with stakeholders, and works in close association with the faculties.
The Student Recruitment Coordinator is the external face of the University of Adelaide to both future students and key stakeholders.
Student Recruitment Coordinators are accomplished sales professionals and public speakers, responsible for the coordination and delivery of engaging and persuasive presentations to various domestic undergraduate markets, locally and interstate.
This position will foster and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective recruitment outcomes, and will work closely with colleagues to implement strategic engagement priorities for The University of Adelaide.
This role will specifically work with the university's high-profile school stakeholder portfolio and partner high schools, and would suit someone with a strong customer-centric focus who goes above and beyond to deliver the best outcomes for their clients.
The Student Recruitment Coordinator is required to travel, visit schools, attend parent nights, expos, and career markets within South Australia and in selected interstate markets.
This role will report on student engagement trends and opportunities for program marketing and promotion within their area of responsibility to the Team Leader, Domestic Undergraduate Recruitment.
To be successful you will need:
Demonstrated experience working in a sales or student recruitment team preferably in a higher education environment.
Well-developed written and oral communication skills, including strong public speaking ability.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the proven ability to identify and manage key relationships and liaise with stakeholders in a culturally diverse environment.
Proven negotiation skills and in particular, demonstrated ability to effectively resolve sensitive matters.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems in an innovative and creative manner to achieve defined outcomes.
Must hold an unrestricted Australian Drivers License and a valid Working with Children Check.
