The opportunity
Bupa has an opening for a Corporate Strategy Associate to join our Customer & Transformation Strategy team. Reporting to the Senior Strategy Manager, the role scope will include strategic problem-solving, analysis and communications to support key presentations, documents and outputs to bring our global strategy to life. The various areas of focus for the role will include developing APAC strategy, Business Unit strategy and governance reporting.
This position is offered as permanent, full-time and may be based from Bupa's Melbourne or Sydney offices with flexible hybrid work arrangements available.

Key responsibilities:
Engage with business stakeholders to gather insights and build a relationship as a trusted strategy advisor. Co-create issue prioritisation frameworks and complete preliminary interviews and analysis to identify the highest value strategic drivers for deeper analysis. Prepare and write APAC papers/presentations for key executive forums. Present strategic findings and facilitate conversations to affirm and refine recommendations. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop key documents for the regional annual strategic planning process. Assist business units to evaluate key opportunities and subsequently develop formal Business Cases. Present and gain consensus of stakeholders through your ability to link data and insights into execution plans. Create analysis plans, stakeholder maps and develop problem-statements and issues trees to frame strategic problems. What's in it for you

What do I need?
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or similar, with outstanding academic record. Experience in translating insight into strategy and action. Strong written presentation skills and the ability to convert data into insight and prepare compelling, persuasive reports and presentations. Proficient technical skills in quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving. Possess structured thinking, commercial acumen with a demonstrated drive, ambition and intellectual curiosity for the health insurance industry. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders including technical and functional specialists, operational and line managers.
