About the role   Leadership: Our Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships, Athena Thompson, is the leader of this role.
Athena is passionate about the future and the opportunity today with AI solutions and the partners driving this secure digital work transformation.
She sits on our Executive team and is based in Sydney.
As a Strategic Partner Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the engagement between Insight and key Partners to deliver against our strategic priorities.
Principally you are proactive in creating and driving effective and profitable business plans, including sales enablement, serving as a specialist within your respective portfolio of assigned partners internally and externally.
The key partners in this role's portfolio include: Adobe , Citrix, VMware/Broadcom and Veeam and key rising partners, as well as orchestrating our Partner Council on new-vendor prioritisation and managing a targeted onboarding process with internal teams.
Along the way, you will get to:  Establish and drive strategic business relationships across Insight's Strategic partners.
Facilitate cross collaboration of key stakeholders across the Partner and Insight business to ensure stability and growth.
Orchestrate our Partner Council on new-vendor prioritisation and managing a targeted onboarding process with internal teams.
Orchestrate Strategic Partner business-plans/ engagement and enablement plans between Insight teams, eg, Technology Sales Leaders, Operations, and the Partners, including Distribution for scale activities.
Ensure alignment to Insight's goals, including financial targets, timelines and investments and partner income, including rebates.
Partner with local APAC alliance specialists to drive successful scale execution in-country.
Ensure Insight gains and maintains partner accreditations and certifications for specific Strategic Partners.
Understand revenue and profit-based targets internally, building and maintaining accurate weekly reporting of the pipeline, forecast, and activities, to deliver against future revenue and Gross Profit (GP) targets.
Drive performance assessments within Insight and with the partner and lead necessary course corrections/actions.
Represent Insight and our capabilities at Partner events, and create a schedule of these events, as well as debrief analysis, including ROI.
Ensure relevant teammates and leadership teams are informed, involved, and updated on partner activities.

We're looking for a Partner Champion with the following capabilities: Proven record of accomplishment of successful Partner Account/Partner Alliance relationship management Experience across the following vendors Adobe , Citrix, VMware/Broadcom, Veeam is required, with a priority on Adobe Demonstrable experience within technology (services or software) with evidence of prior success and consistent overachievement against targets Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI and Word) and CRM, eg, Salesforce Business acumen: ability to win confidence and deliver with professional authority and ease Demonstrable knowledge of modern business processes and trends and the impact of leading-edge IT (Information Technology) solutions A team-player who can work successfully within a diverse team in a mutually supportive way (including with technical and sales teammates in multiple/virtual locations) High level of written and spoken English     What you can expect We're legendary for taking care of you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
