Pizza Rebellion Store Supervisor
Reports To: Store Managers/Owners
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Pizza Shop Supervisor to lead our team and ensure smooth daily operations at our busy takeaway pizza shop.
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing staff, maintaining excellent customer service, and ensuring that our high standards for food quality and cleanliness are consistently met.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be guiding team members while actively participating in pizza preparation, customer interactions, and managing the flow of orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Supervision & Leadership:
Oversee and support a team of in-store staff and delivery drivers.
Train, mentor, and motivate new and existing team members to ensure excellent performance and customer service.
Ensure staff adhere to company policies, health and safety standards, and food hygiene regulations.
Operations Management:
Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring smooth workflow during peak hours.
Handle inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and ensuring ingredients are fresh and well-stocked.
Ensure pizzas are made to the highest standard, with attention to consistency, quality, and presentation.
Customer Service:
Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and handling customer inquiries or complaints professionally.
Monitor order accuracy and ensure prompt delivery or pickup times.
Quality Control & Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring all items meet company standards.
Financial Management:
Assist in cash handling, processing payments, and balancing the till at the end of shifts.
Problem-Solving:
Resolve operational issues and customer complaints quickly and effectively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a pizza shop, restaurant, or food service environment (supervisory or team lead experience preferred).
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations during peak hours.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Basic cash handling and POS system experience.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
