Steel Frame Carpenter/Tradesperson

Here at McHugh Steel we are proud of being a family owned and operated Roll Forming Company.This position will work in our Steel Framing Department.We are a Bundaberg based Company that specializes in Metal Roll Forming and Custom fabrication. All of our steel frames are made on site in our factory and distributed throughout Queensland.Minimum Requirements:Experience with light weight steel framing installation on residential and commercial projectsAbility to read plans and layoutsKnowledge of building codes and attention to detailExcellent time management to meet build/install programBlue/White card and relevant PPEOwn transportation and licenceStrong communication skills and a positive 'can-do' attitudeThe ability to work well in a teamTools of the tradeDuties include:Installation of steel framing as per drawings and QA requirementsMeeting scope of works and timelinesEnsure installation is compliant with all client requirementsSite inductionsConduct site safety auditsEnsure all legislative requirements are met for QA and OH&S
