Ideal role for a hands-on engineer with exposure in maintenance and reliability

Reporting to the Lead Static Equipment Engineer, the Static Equipment engineer is responsible for delivery of reliability and integrity across the Brisbane operations: your role will include the following
Ensuring that all static equipment assets at Brisbane Operations have effective Reliability and Capability Life Plans
You will work very closely with the planners to ensure that preventive & predictive maintenance work orders in SAP PM are aligned with equipment maintenance strategies.
You will also ensure that investigations, actions and audits are completed in compliance with the policies to ensure zero harm
You will be involved in turnaround projects and will be responsible for identifying the risks during scoping
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Materials or Manufacturing Engineering. . AICIP or API inspection qualification preferred.
Significant experience working in the maintenance space in a chemical plant or similar heavy industry environment will be highly regarded. Experience in the static equipment industry and sound knowledge of materials, failure mechanisms, welding processes and procedures with specific reference to high temperature, high pressure hydrogen processes.
Experience in the development and ongoing management of Risk Based Inspection programs. Experience with PCMS desirable.
Experience in the field of pressure equipment and structural steel reliability and integrity is highly advantageous
Knowledge of legislative requirements for Static Equipment including but not limited to AS1210, AS4041 and AS3788
Knowledge in SAP PM and MS Office Suite will be highly regarded
Experienced in risk identification, analysis and mitigation strategies
