Your Role:
As the Queensland Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager of Operations and take charge of all logistics and operational aspects of our Queensland branches at Yatala, Stapylton, Banyo, and Townsville. Your key responsibilities will include:
Safety First: Champion our values of Safe, Smart, Sustainable, and Service, ensuring a strong safety culture. Customer Experience: Execute the business' strategy to deliver an outstanding experience for our customers. Operational Excellence: Drive daily production targets and logistics efficiencies while managing branch personnel. Leadership: Mentor and support your team of managers and team leaders, conducting performance reviews and fostering a collaborative environment. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop branch strategies aligned with our business vision. Profitability & Compliance: Ensure the branch meets and exceeds budget and KPI expectations while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards. What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring a robust operational background in logistics management, with proven experience in:
Leading a branch or group of branches, preferably in the logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or waste industries. Demonstrating strong commercial acumen and business understanding. Analysing business data for evidence-based decision-making. Implementing continuous improvement initiatives and managing change. Skills & Qualifications:
Strong safety focus and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt to business demands and drive outcomes through organizational effectiveness. Proficiency in logistics and CRM software, MS Office, and advanced Excel. A degree in Business or Operations Management is preferable but not essential. Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and achieve positive business-first outcomes. What's in It for You?
