Job Description As the Standards and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for the assurance of standards and regulatory compliance across global Airport Operations.
Your role will involve ensuring that all compliance, policy, regulatory requirements and industry body standards are understood and integrated into the Qantas Airport Operations.
Reporting into the Head of Airport Services, you will lead a team of assurance, standards and compliance specialists responsible for developing controls, strategies and implementation plans for assurance, business continuity and operational standards programs.
Additionally, you will also play a key role in influencing and partnering with stakeholders across the business to effectively drive change, whilst ensuring that safety related risks are properly mitigated.
You'll have Prior experience in an operational, safety or compliance position within aviation Experience in facilitating risk assessments and managing change activities Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvements as related to policies, processes and systems to deliver improved compliance and safety outcomes Proven ability to lead a team across multiple projects or programs, overseeing deliverables, coaching to outcomes, and ensuring best practices Experience in assessing capability, performance and management systems of suppliers Knowledge and experience in operational assurance and auditing, including compliance reporting and making recommendations Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication approaches, including a confidence to engage, debate and facilitate stakeholder meetings A strong attention to detail to ensure quality outcomes Why Qantas?
