Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Contract Operations Manager who's primary focus will be supporting the Private Pricing Program for AWS, preparing and drafting executable contracts based on approved frameworks and to drive important strategic projects to support our Customers. You will join Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team housed within the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization.This is an existing role under the Private Pricing Channel Services pillar of 3PX, a team conceived from the belief that many current and future AWS customers can realize more value from cloud by deepening their relationships with the AWS Private Pricing program.You will be endlessly curious about the Private Pricing program, enthusiastic about contracting and leading strategic projects to successful completion, and enjoy continual challenges.Key job responsibilitiesAutonomously operate within established frameworks to manage multiple, complex deal and contracting cycles at various stagesHave highest standards and a bias for action to achieve deal velocity while exercising excellent judgementTake ownership of the contract process with internal and external stakeholders, such as Legal and Sales teamsIdentify, track and analyze key metrics to develop and recommend improvementsOwn and deliver results on strategic programs/projects for improvements and scale for Customers in the contracting spaceMinimum Requirements5+ years drafting and negotiating contracts in a tech/IT organization3+ years leading projects/programs, influencing internal and external stakeholders with executive level written and verbal communication3+ years using data and metrics to influence business recommendationsBachelor's degree or equivalentPreferred QualificationsExperience drafting and negotiating contracts in a tech sales environmentExperience working for a cloud computing organizationAcknowledgement of country:In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
