About the role The Sponsorship Manager role sits within the Place & Events team at the City of Canada Bay.
Working closely with the Manager Place & Events, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of Council's Sponsorship Strategy.
This person will also identify and evaluate sponsorship opportunities to support the delivery of Council's events, services, activities and programs and will be responsible for negotiating, administering and delivering Council's sponsorship agreements and ensuring sponsor satisfaction, retention and growth.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement and evaluate Council's new Sponsorship Strategy.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify innovative and creative sponsorship opportunities for new and existing partners.Ensure fulfilment of all key deliverables by both parties in accordance with the sponsorship agreement.Maintain accurate records and data in relation to all sponsorship proposals, agreements and deliverables.Ensure processes and protocols are in place to comply with all relevant legislation and Council policies.Develop annual sponsorship budget plans and monitor progress against key actions and performance indicators.Monitor, evaluate and report on the progress and performance of Council's Sponsorship Strategy, identify improvements and provide strategic advice to Council's senior management.About the person The successful candidate should have demonstrated experience in identifying new sponsorship opportunities and developing innovative sponsorship packages and marketing materials.
Ideally you will have: Tertiary qualifications in sponsorship management, marketing, business development or a related field.Relevant experience in sponsorship/partnership management including securing, managing and retaining sponsors.Demonstrated experience in identifying new sponsorship opportunities and developing innovative sponsorship packages and marketing materials.Proficient in managing contracts and agreements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with local government record keeping standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.What's on offer We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $115,560 to $132,894 + Super.
