Job OverviewThis incredibly rewarding and fulfilling role requires that you work with the school community to reach the goals of its students and families.
You will be working in small class sizes with children with mild to severe disabilities of all kinds.
Your training and experience will be highly valued, and you will combine this knowledge with that of other professionals as you work as a team with the education staff to reach joint goals.
Working with the school community, you will rely heavily on the implementation of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), particularly Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP).
This role is considered a non-clinical role as there will be little to no one-on-one therapy.
You will, however, draw on your clinical skills and knowledge daily and potentially liaise with third-party allied health professionals.
