This is a Permanent or Fixed Term Full-Time appointment for 80 hours per fortnight.
About the role: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Consultant – Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who will be responsible for the specialist clinical care of Obstetric and Gynaecological patients attending Kalgoorlie Health Campus as well as specialist clinical services across the region, including Esperance. You will work along with two other specialists and three registrars. The on-call roster is also supplemented by three GPOs. The department plays an active role in teaching students from the Rural Clinical School and is an accredited training site for CWH, basic and advanced DRANZCOG.
As part of this role, you will also be responsible for providing excellent clinical care in Bunbury Hospital's Obstetrics and Gynaecology referral centre supporting level 2 and 3 sites. You will also have opportunities to provide leadership and facilities orientation, training, supervision, and education for Doctors in Training (DiTs). The team currently is comprised of 6 Consultants, with registrars supported inclusive of RANZCOG trainees.
