This role will be part of our Employee Experience team in IAG Group Technology, reporting to the Manager of Virtualisation and Software. Successful candidates could be based in any of our offices in Sydney CBD, Burwood (VIC), Wellington or Christchurch (NZ) You will provide the following portfolio of virtualisation services to staff across the IAG group in Australia and NZ. Virtual desktop services providing employee and partner to access a virtual Windows desktop from an unmanaged PC/Mac; and Non-standard software provisioning services IAGGroupTech virtualisation citrix technicalsupport Key Responsibilities Administer and manage the core XenDesktop Infrastructure Services environment Daily Administration support of the XenDesktop farm including fault finding, root cause analysis and overall farm health monitoring and maintenance. Provide BAU and Project support to customers using any aspect of the XenDesktop or VDI environment at IAG. Supports and administers all applications that are hosted on the XenDesktop platform Perform Level 3 ticket resolution and manage escalations as per SLAs Provide 24/7 support on a rotating roster Writes technical documentation, such as production handover, implementation and technical specifications Complete and maintain knowledge articles to drive continual improvement in service delivery Monitor performance using management information systems, business and vendor engagement & observations and take action to address performance gaps. Respond immediately to service interruptions Stay abreast of the latest industry technology standards and practices, upskill and share knowledge with peers. Build effective working relationships. Work closely with the business and various cross functional teams to manage the platform effectively by troubleshooting desktop computing environment issues. Skills & Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience in Windows 7 & 10 and application delivery/packaging solutions - including application streaming, sequencing and isolation Experience with Citrix technologies; XenDesktop, NetScaler, PVS, Web Interface and WEM Expertise with Citrix roll-outs, updates, and troubleshooting Knowledge in command line, PowerShell, and other scripting for administration and support Working knowledge of ITIL Foundation Service Management Any Microsoft or Citrix certifications would be advantageous Let's Talk Click 'Apply' and start your career conversation with Talent Acquisition Applications Close on 15th August 2019 In addition to a diverse and inclusive culture, some of our benefits include 13% superannuation (3% Kiwisaver), 50% insurance discounts, flexible work and leave options, generous parental leave and return to work program, recognition and reward program, and various corporate partner discounts.
