ABOUT PERTH OFFICE
South32's corporate office is based in the heart of Perth's CBD.
The corporate office houses key functions including HR, Finance, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Group Risk and Technical.
Our office is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the Perth Underground Train Station.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This permanent position will be held in our Perth offices.
We understand and value the benefits of flexibility and operate a hybrid work model (in the office and from home).

As Specialist HR Systems & Applications , you will help maintain and support the key systems that power our HR operations, including SAP, SuccessFactors, case management tools, and automated workflow systems.
Working closely with both system users and our technical partners, you'll help ensure these platforms run smoothly and meet the needs of our HR teams.
You'll serve as a bridge between the people who use these systems daily and the technical teams who keep them running.

Reporting to the Lead HR Systems and Applications, other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
• Provides day-to-day support for our HR systems, helping teams solve technical issues and find better ways to use our platforms.
Works closely with different departments to make sure our systems meet their needs and run efficiently.
• Coordinates regular HR processes by working with our Rewards & Benefits and Culture & Capability teams.
Ensures our core systems like SAP and SuccessFactors are running smoothly and keeps everyone informed about system updates and changes.
• Supports improvement projects for our HR systems by gathering feedback, documenting what's needed, and working with technical teams to implement solutions.
Helps keep projects on track and assists in identifying and solving any issues that come up.
• Creates training materials and guides to help teams use our systems effectively.
Makes sure system changes are thoroughly tested and working properly before they go live, while building strong relationships with both technical and HR teams.

ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
• Hands-on experience with HR systems like SuccessFactors and SAP, along with a solid understanding of how HR processes work in practice.
Your technical knowledge helps teams work more efficiently.
• Naturally curious and enjoy learning new technical skills, you find satisfaction in sharing your knowledge with others and helping them understand complex systems in simple terms.
• Talent for building strong relationships across teams and enjoy being the go-to person for HR system support.
Your clear communication style helps bridge the gap between technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, thinking critically about business needs and finding practical ways to address them through our systems.
• Enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can work closely with both HR teams and technical experts to implement solutions that make a real difference.
• Comfortable with system testing and take pride in ensuring new features and processes work smoothly before they reach your colleagues.

Qualifications for this position are:
• Tertiary Qualifications in HR, Business, Technology desirable
