13 days ago, from Institute of Data Australia Temporary full-time role up to 12 months Departmental Officer Grade 3/4 (base salary ranges from $79,032 - $86,539) Location: Bathurst (hybrid working arrangements) The role Reporting to the Supervisor, Administrative Spatial Program, you will be required to apply expert spatial knowledge to undertake a range of activities related to the sourcing, quality assurance, maintenance and delivery of Spatial Services' Foundation Spatial Data. Key accountabilities: Apply spatial knowledge and sound computer skills in the application of contemporary technologies to capture, maintain and enhance spatial information in a complex digital environment. Assist in identifying options for system and process improvements. Maintain records and security of information. Work collaboratively in a team and complete activities in a timely and effective manner. Use initiative and problem-solving skills to investigate solutions to data anomalies and to identify improvements to processes and procedures. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders. To be successful in this role: You will require TAFE Certificate IV in Spatial Information Services or equivalent and/or recognised industry experience. Sound computer skills and demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of GIS software for capture and maintenance of digital data.
