About the role The Stamford Grand Adelaide is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced Sous Chef to join our award-winning Kitchen Team on a fulltime basis.
The successful candidate will possess a creative flair, thrive when working within a busy and bustling kitchen environment and be passionate about providing exceptional culinary experiences for all those dining at our 5-star venue.
The role reports into the Executive Sous Chef and the Executive Chef.
Core requirements of your role Ensure smooth and successful running of the Kitchen and Stewarding Teams Hands on day-to-day management of the food service operations for all outlets Collaboratively work in conjunction with Front of House Service Teams to ensure high quality product and exceptional service for guests Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are established, monitored and maintained in line with guidelines and requirements Continuous drive for sustainable practices and lead the hotel Food Waste Program Ensure food cost and expenses are managed Keep up to date with latest trends in the food service industry and work with the Team to introduce new techniques regularly  Professionally lead the Team to drive efficiency through practices such as: daily operational management, training and motivation to obtain high KPIs and achieve implemented set targets and business goals About You If you are passionate, self-motivated and looking to advance your culinary career, we want to hear from you.
