Job Description Bring your passion and feel the energy! Join our Pinnacle Drinks commercial team and drive Own Brand growth across Beer, Cider, Spirits & RTDs. As the Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for the growth, development, and management of the Pinnacle Portfolio for Endeavour Group across Beer, Cider, Spirits, and RTDs.
You'll drive sales, gross profit, and penetration of the Pinnacle Own brand portfolio within our Retail brands; Dan Murphys and BWS, alongside other channels like Shorty's, Marketplace, and external partners.
Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role: Drive the team across your categories to engage with Domestic and International suppliers / producers / co-packers to develop the Own Brand and Partner brands portfolio. Improve and optimise the commercial viability of the range using your understanding of the different aspects of manufacturing. Portfolio building / sourcing / developing of the own brand portfolio. Own the New Product Development pipeline, driving identification of new product opportunities. Upgrade the existing portfolio while engaging with supply partners and working end to end with a variety of internal stakeholders. Identify and engage with domestic and international brand owners to obtain long-term exclusivity for Endeavour Group. Maintain best-in-class relationships with the exclusive brand owners and work with our marketing teams to execute plans that improve brand performances. Ensure that Pinnacle has the best-in-class, best-in-cost, best-in-supply short-, mid-, and long-term strategy for its own brands portfolio development. Ensure alignment on project deliveries and timelines with the Project management team, as well as EDG QA compliance, as per the priorities decided by the Own Brand & manufacturing manager. Qualifications Now let's talk about you: Degree qualified in Business or similar. 5+ years Retail or FMCG buying experience. Intermediate MS Office experience. Knowledge of merchandising, sourcing, and manufacturing principles. Strong Business Acumen, numerical and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills (written / verbal). Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships. Ability to work independently and within a customer team. Excellent negotiation skills. Knowledgeable in Global and Domestic sourcing procedures and manufacturing of beer and wine. Great understanding of Domestic and International supply chain. Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A customer-centric attitude and a passion for the liquor industry. The benefits are good too!
