As the Sourcing Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth sourcing operations by supporting category management, maintaining accurate data, and managing supplier relationships.
Reporting to the Head of Sourcing, you will help streamline processes and address supply challenges, contributing to Marley Spoon's commitment to delivering fresh, high-quality ingredients with efficiency and excellence.
Your role: Assist with category reviews, ERP item management, and supplier coordination across Dry Goods, Fresh Produce, Protein, and RTH Food categories. Aid in managing tenders, pricing, and supplier allocations for quarterly and yearly tenders. Support onboarding for new suppliers and foster partnerships across food and non-food categories. Monitor stock levels, handle shortages, and process substitutions as needed. Ensure accuracy in ERP data, manage pricing updates, and provide regular reporting for team meetings. Identify ways to streamline workflows, assist in supply problem-solving, and maintain process documentation. Facilitate meeting agendas, record-keeping, and supplier onboarding processes. Train team members on tools and processes and cover for Purchasing Officers during leave. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication abilities, able to collaborate with internal teams and suppliers. Proficiency in data management and systems like ERP and Confluence. Problem-solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. Prior experience in a sourcing, procurement, or supply chain role is advantageous but not required.
