A little about the role:
We have an amazing permanent opportunity available for a Sonographer (dual trained, highly advantageous) in Bendigo, VIC. Ideally you will have 5 plus years’ experience, however all experience levels will be considered. You will work across two sites performing a variety of scans. The practice caseload is primarily MSK, interventional procedures, obstetrics and breast. There is no ED at the sites to there is limited acute work however, there is a critical care unit where acute work in undertaken.
Duties you will be responsible for:Perform a broad range of ultrasound scans.
Provide a high level of patient care at all times.
Work across two sites in Bendigo.
Work independently as well as part of a team.
Operate GE machines.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
Skills and Experience:Dual trained, advantageous.
Effective communication with patients and staff.
5 + years’ experience preferred however, all experience levels considered.
ASAR Accredited Medical Sonographer.
Relevant tertiary qualifications.
Appropriate working rights for Australia.
Experience working in a similar setting will be highly regarded.
