Our client is a large organisation in the mining sector. They are currently looking for a Solutions Architect to join them on a 6 month contract with extensions on offer. This role will be based in Adelaide CBD + some flexible work from home on offer. The Role: The Solution Architect is responsible for ensuring that the design is fit for purpose while conforming to the enterprise architecture principles and related standards. Under the direction of an Engineering Architect, he will participate in documenting the solution, providing advice and guidance to enable the solution development. Responsible for the delivery of Solution Architecture services to projects. Contribute when required to the development of architectural artefacts such as policies and procedures. Contribute to the development and management of reference architectures when required. Promote architecture standards and requirements amongst technology and business stakeholders. Deliver architecture recommendations based on project requirements and industry best practices, to help solve complex technical problems and ensure fit for purpose solutions are implemented wherever possible. Monitor adherence to architecture standards and procedures. Identify and promote opportunities for standardization and reusability of architecture across the automation roadmap. Minimum Requirements: 10+ years' experience operating in a Solution Architect or similar position. Previous experience working as an Architect in the Energy, Gas, Mining, Renewables or Construction sector. Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently establish effective stakeholder relationships.
