About the role:
The Solution Architect will provide solution leadership and advisory, develop and implement solutions aligned to the blueprints and roadmaps that deliver a cost-effective target business state and optimised business value delivery. Additional responsibilities include:
Coordinate and orchestrate application & information solution architecture activities and deliverables to meet the demands and expectations of the Customer Business Unit.
Ensure solutions are aligned to enterprise-wide blueprints and roadmaps/future states.
Manage the architectural impacts of business change.
Recommend solutions that improve cost-effectiveness and flexibility of the portfolio.
Provide thought leadership on solution architecture, specifically within the application & information domain, and foster an environment of continuous improvement within IT & Customer Business Unit.
Review, provide analysis, position and respond to technical papers as requested by the Chief Architect or Enterprise Architects.
Provide expert guidance to delivery teams.
Be Impactful when you are applying…
You will have prior experience with setting collaboration frameworks, creating a solution prototype, solution development control and leading and influencing technical teams. Additionally, you will have some of the following:
Tertiary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent years of experience in the field.
Demonstrated experience delivering successful solution architectures in large scale environments/enterprises.
Experience with modern cloud architecture & data platforms (AWS, Databricks etc).
Architecture experience in financial and/or energy markets.
Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving ability.
Solid presentation development and delivery skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of technical & non-technical stakeholders.
The ability to translate technical information to an easily digestible form.
