Position based at Melbourne (Bundoora) campusChampion a strong continuous improvement cultureAbout the PositionThe Solution Architect - Cloud, Infrastructure & Networks is responsible for designing and managing the University's on-premise and cloud infrastructure, platforms, security, and network architecture. This role establishes standards and patterns, promotes cloud adoption, infrastructure optimisation, and ensures robust network security. By enforcing architecture principles and best practices, it ensures seamless integration, scalability, and reliability of all infrastructure services, providing secure and efficient solutions to meet the University's current and future needs.Skills and ExperienceTo be considered for this position, you will have:Demonstrated experience and expertise in the management of significant human and material resources, or postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience, or experience and expertise in the provision of strategic policy advice affecting the direction of the University, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.Demonstrated high level of theoretical and applied knowledge in professional area of expertise.Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in liaising with staff at all levels of an organisation, negotiating effective outcomes, consultation and facilitation of group discussions.Application ProcessOnly candidates with Full Working Rights in Australia may apply for this position.
