Solution Architect (Azure flavoured) - 12 mth contract - Up to $1400/day Based in the Canberra CBD (close to transport), they are running a large transformation program.
Agility, flexibility, simplicity of use & accessibility are all front of mind, while still ensuring their systems are robust & secure.

As they build (& rebuild) systems, they are adopting a lot of Azure.

About the role The role is focused on designing bespoke critical solutions that are utilised by their internal teams & external stakeholders.

Azure is a key focus, so a deep understanding of Azure services (Functions, App Services, Logic Apps & SQL) is essential.
Experience with cloud native systems, Microservices architecture, and event-driven applications is also required.

Additionally, familiarity with batch processing and legacy monoliths is important, particularly regarding their integration.

As expected in this role, there will be significant stakeholder engagement across both business and IT, so excellent communication skills are necessary.

Being a team player is crucial, as you'll need to collaborate with other architects, align with enterprise strategies & roadmaps, work effectively with architectural governance & teams, and adhere to best practices.
