About the Role LexisNexis Legal Software Solutions (LN LSS) is a leading provider of technical installation, upgrade, and support services for legal software solutions.
Our objective is to deliver high-quality technical services based on established policies and procedures to ensure client satisfaction.
As a Software Technical Consultant - server/desktop installation at LexisNexis Legal Software Solutions, you will provide technical installation, upgrade, and support services.
Your role will involve ensuring adherence to established methods.
This is a permanent full-time role based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with the possibility of combined home/office-based arrangements to have flexible work-life balance.
Responsibilities Providing remote installation and upgrade services for LN LSS products in client environments.
Liaising with client IT representatives to ensure alignment and transparency.
Offering technical support and resolution for escalated incidents within agreed SLAs.
Installing, configuring, and monitoring internal systems to ensure high availability.
Developing and maintaining documentation relevant to providing technical support.
Maintaining a detailed understanding of hardware/software configurations impacting product performance.
Advising on hardware/software configuration to optimize product performance.
Exhibiting a can-do approach to meet customer requirements and needs.
Requirements Demonstrate a solid educational foundation in Computing and Information Systems or a successful history of industry experience.
Experience with software installations, software deployment with strong technical troubleshooting abilities is essential.
Possess intermediate/advanced skills in Windows Client/Server Operating Systems, Virtualization Technologies, Windows Networking, etc.
Showcase a proven track record of adeptly supporting software application systems, networks, and technical office applications with extensive experience.
Industry training and expertise in relevant disciplines will be highly regarded.
