You will also be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive software revenue & growth profit (GP) growth by optimising existing revenue streams and identifying new opportunities & initiatives for expansion. This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. Key responsibilities:Develop & implement comprehensive strategies to increase software revenue & GP, aligned with the company goals and market trends.Lead a high-performing team of 9 software sales professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to drive individual and collective success.Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities, target markets and competitive landscape for software in Australia.Stay apprised of vendor updates & market trends to proactively manage the company's software offerings.Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and ensure effective execution of software revenue & GP growth initiatives.Identify and evaluate opportunities for introducing new software solutions or enhancing existing products to meet customer needs and drive incremental revenue & GP.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor software revenue & GP performance.Develop sales enablement materials, training programs, and tools to support the sales team in effectively positioning and selling software solutions to clients.Key Skills and Experience required:Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and achieving revenue & profitability targets in the sale of software solutions.Comprehensive knowledge of software products, services, and solutions, and emerging technologies.Experience developing and nurturing strategic partnerships and alliances with technology partners to expand market reach and drive revenue & GP growth.Deep understanding of Microsoft products, programs and experience selling Microsoft solutions to Australian based customers.Existing relationships with Microsoft and other key vendors across security & application software.Experience leading high performing sales teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Note: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check.Brennan IT is an equal-opportunity employer.
