About the role The Engineer - Technology provides design and development support of a specific technology to enable commercialisation of product.
What you will be doing Key Accountabilities Develops and implements a New Product Introduction Plan through strategic thinking and effective management of ambiguity and complexity.
Gathers, relates and compares information from diverse internal and external sources, taking into account short- and long-term implications to form plan.
Act quickly to resolve conflict between competing realities, solutions and/or priorities.
Defines implementation strategy for product in alignment with strategic intent.
Develops the Project Business Plan and delivers project P&L against all SHEC, Timeline, Commercial and Market targets.
Seizes business opportunities; understands the implications of decisions on our competitive positions; willingness to take calculated risk to achieve business goals; aligns financial strategy to increase profits by gathering intelligence that provides the potential to maximize returns from new product sales.
Build and maintain market, customer and new technology awareness and focus relevant to the implementation and modification of the New Product Introduction Plan.
Understands key market drivers that impact profits and sustainability; anticipates and adapts to changes in the market in order to achieve competitive advantage; ensures return on investment through global mindset and investment strategies; manages risks associated with working in a global market.
Acquires general technical knowledge of related products and applications for effective execution of program management and identification of risks.
What you will bring BAND F PEOPLE LEADER * Minimum 7 years experience post qualification.
* Experience leading a team, including building a collaborative approach.
* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
* Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement.
* Ability to plan, influence & execute.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.
BAND F TECHNICAL SPECIALIST * Minimum 3 to 6 years experience post qualification.
* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
* Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement.
* Ability to plan, influence & execute.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders.
