It is an 18 bed acute care facility that offers emergency medicine; medical inpatient services; pathology collection; medical imaging (x-ray outreach from Goulburn and remote operator (medical)) and the Wellness Centre.The Wellness Centre provides structured exercise and activity for elderly clients to help maintain functional fitness and independence.Crookwell Community Health services encompass nurse lead services such as a wound clinic, nursing home visits, child and family health; and allied health services including physiotherapy, social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology and dietetics.What you'll be doingProvide contemporary comprehensive specialist services for optimal patient outcomes. Provide and support training to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.Our Offer :Corporate Health and Fitness programRemuneration VMOMinimum Requirements :Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Practitioner or training towards.Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Emergency Medicine.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.Demonstrated commitment to participation in on-call rosters and providing timely on-site responses.Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to all aspects of clinical governance.Demonstrated ability to consistently display a commitment to, and compliance with, high quality Customer Service, Workplace Diversity, Occupational Health & Safety and Industrial Democracy principles, practices and relevant legislation relating to these areas and an understanding of and commitment to the organisation's values.Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific DiseasesThis is a Category A position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2024 015.
