Established in 2018, we moved into our modern factory in 2023 with lots of new equipment to ramp production and meet customer demand.Description:The candidate will be responsible for implementing efficient and effective potato chip production processes including designing, maintaining, and overseeing the production site. This role is instrumental in seeing the company reach the next level of growth, productivity, and quality assurance. Safety, team building, production planning, maintenance, automation, and integration of new machinery also come under the banner. The opportunity here is to be part of a growing team that will make this a nationally recognized brand and product range.Key Responsibilities:Design and collate processing plant with existing and new machinery/equipment.Fabricate equipment to the best safety requirements and betterment maintenance of equipment.Design and practice weekly and monthly maintenance procedures.Boost productivity and manage new processing practices.Monitor and oversee worker activities.Analyse production data and factory worker productivity levels.Ensure supply of parts needed to carry out repairs and maintenance.When required carry out repairs, fitting and maintenance to equipment.Ensure cleaning programs and worker supervisors are following daily HACCP protocols.Experience & Skills Needed:Must have previous experience in potato snack making (3+ years).Experience in mechanical and electrical installs/repairs.Experience of turning/fitting and maintenance of food processing equipment.4+ years of experience with operating and commissioning packaging equipment.Engineering background, with clear troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.Hardworking, calm, confident, reliable, and honest.Required to have welding experience.Experience in managing staff and training staff on site.Successful candidate is offered:Job securityFull-time hoursCollaborative workplace culture & growth opportunitiesCompany UniformSummary of Role Requirements:Looking for candidates available to work:Monday: Morning, Afternoon, EveningTuesday: Morning, Afternoon, EveningWednesday: Morning, Afternoon, EveningThursday: Morning, Afternoon, EveningFriday: Morning, Afternoon, EveningMore than 4 years of relevant work experience required for this roleWork visa can be provided for this roleExpected start date for role: 01 February 2025Expected salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
